10 Bollywood Celebs Who Married Their Co-Stars

We know many peoples around ourselves which fall in love with their colleagues during working together. There are also many couples in Bollywood which meet on sets of their films for the first time and they fall in loves with each other. For some time they act like their loves is genuine on the film set. But today we bring 10 Bollywood celebs story who married their Co-Stars.



1. Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan:

Hrishikesh Mukherjee, the renowned director seems to also be a matchmaker of sorts. Jay a and Amitabh was first brought together in the film Guddi by him. On that time Amitabh was on the lookout for a woman who was part conservative and part contemporary. After Jaya’s photography for the magazine called Stardust and Amitabh fell in love with her. After that, he got another movie in which he acted with her. As they slowly started falling for each other, in 1973 on the sets of Zanjeer, they decided that if the movie was a hit that they would take a trip to London together. After a rushed wedding which was the condition that Bachchan’s father gave him to go to London together, they boarded a flight the very same day. They have been married 44 years now with two children, Abhishek and Shweta.



2. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan: 

Tashan was the movie that brought these stars together. Kareena was at that time in a relationship with Shahid Kapoor that was dwindling and slowly breaking down. Everybody was into their unconventional inter-faith relationship, as what shone forth was their love for each other. Even after getting married five years later Kareena did not convert to Islam nor did Saif to Hinduism. They’re now married and have an incredibly cute 1-year-old boy.



3. Kajol and Ajay Devgn: 

Kajol was in a relationship when she met Ajay on the sets of Hulchul and was asking him dating advice because she saw him as a level headed and wise man. But since their attraction started to grow rapidly on the sets of such a romantic movie they started falling in love. Despite their complete opposite personality types, they are now married and have 2 children, Nyasa, and son Yug, and are still crazy about each other.



4. Aishwariya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan:

This world-celebrated couple, who also appeared together on The Oprah Winfrey Show, is loved very much by all their fans. Son of the Big B- Amitabh Bachchan himself, Abhishek also entered into the acting industry when he was 24 but he first co-starred alongside one of the world’s most gorgeous beauties, Aishwarya Rai, in the Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke and Kuch Naa Kaho. But at this time both of them were with other celebs, Aishwarya with Salman Khan and Abhishek engaged to Karishma Kapoor. Later on, Abhishek’s engagement was broken and even Aishwarya broke up with Salman because of his abusive nature. Finally, in the 4 consecutive movies together including Bunty Aur Babli and Dhoom 2, they fell in love. They are now married and have a beautiful daughter called Aaradhya.



5. Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh: 

These two lovebirds were not always so in love. Tujhe Meri Kasam was the movie that these incredibly young couples me. Genelia was expecting Riteish to be a spoiled brat because he was the son of the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra. But she instead fell in love with how humble simple and kind he was to all those on set, which happened to include Genelia’s parents as well because she was only 16 when she first started filming. The story ends with them both falling in love and staying in love while procreating 2 wonderful boys, Riaan and Rahyl.



6. Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar: 

It was love at first sight for the talented Akshay when he was called in for a photo shoot with the pretty Twinkle after which he was thrilled to act alongside her in International Khiladi, their first film together. Even though the film didn’t do well in the Box Office, Akshay felt he found his one true love. Although Twinkle had given up her desire to continue in the Bollywood industry, Akshay is still a star and is shining brighter as the years' pass. They are married now and have 2 children, Aarav and Nitara.



7. Kunal Kemmu and Soha Ali Khan:

Sister of Saif Ali Khan, Soha is also in an interfaith marriage. The duo co-starred in the movie Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge where they say they were barely even friends. But when they both co-starred in the film 99, that’s when Soha says they started to get ‘closer’. After living together for about a year, they decided to tie the knot in 2015, after which they got married and are now the proud parents of a beautiful princess they call Inaaya.



8. Dharmendra & Hema Malini: 

This pair has a truly unique love story. Dharmendra was already married when he met Hema on the sets of Tum Haseen Main Jawan in 1970. The co-stars slowly started to fall in love with each other, despite his being married and Dharmendra would try to pursue her limitlessly. Even though she was in love with him as well, Hema was also not ready to get involved with a married man who already had 4 children. But later since they both couldn’t live without each other, despite Hema’s parents rejecting the match, they decided to convert to Islam just to be married to each other and also because Dharmendra’s wife would refuse him a divorce. There is a rumor that states that on the sets of Sholay where this couple had again paired up, Dharmendra bribed the light boys to mess with the lights so that he would have several retakes with his beloved Hema in his arms.



9. Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover: 

After meeting not so long ago on the sets of the horror movie Alone, Bipasha and Karan hit it off! Although they were in love and wanted to be together they first waited for approval from Karan’s parents to make it official. They are an Instagram couple and make the world jealous by posting the cuties selfies of them doing all kinds of things together like going to the gym or friend’s wedding or even each other’s birthday bashes.  They got married just a few months ago in April 2017.



10. Rishi Kapoor & Neetu Singh:

Despite being married for more than 37 years, these soul mates are still very happy to be with each other. In a simple and original love story, they first met when Neetu was only 13 and Rishi was 18, and they fell in love on the set of Kabhi Kabhi. But since Rishi was a guy who loved the single life he told her right off the bat that he didn’t want to get into a marriage. Because of her love for him, Neetu stayed anyway, but just 5 years later, they got married. They have two children Ranbir who is a very popular actor and Riddhima who is an excellent interior designer.
